EXPERIENCE
Wells
Fargo Bank : San
Francisco, CA
Capital Markets Group / Financial Derivatives Trading
01/2002 to Present
Web
Developer (AVP)
Overview: I led a team that developed web-based intranet applications
that effectively ran Wells Fargo’s financial derivatives trading floor. Complete
front, middle, and back office work flow automation with over 250 users in
multiple geographic locations. I was also the main creative force with duties
including GUI layout and graphic design. I gained an intimate knowledge of
industry specific XML favors like Financial Products Markup Language (FpML 3.0).
I have extensive business knowledge of exotic financial derivative instruments including
interest rate/commodity swaps & options. I am also responsible for web
server security configuration.
Calypso Derivatives Trading System Implementation: Customized and extended a massive 3rd
party Java API with over 2,800+ classes. I developed and integrated it with an
XML-based bank-wide Federal Reserve wire payment system a bank-wide General
Ledger (GL) accounting system. Custom Java/HTML template driven back-office
document automation solution (payment advices, trade tickets, ISDA
confirmations) allowed for a substantial increase in trading volume without
increasing operations staff.
Java to .NET/COM Bridging: Using software tools from JNBridge and J-Integra, I
controlled Java objects from a .NET environment as well as COM objects from a
Java environment. This enabled true cross-platform development which saved real
time and money by allowing us to leverage existing or legacy systems for tasks
that we already had solutions for.
XML Database Persistence: Successfully implemented technology that dynamically
stores and retrieves XML in a relational database. Using Microsoft SQLXML 3.0,
I could create a virtual mapping of any XML in order to disassemble it into a
relational model that could be reassembled and accessed via dynamically
generated XPATH queries.
Fax & Email Server Integration: Biscom fax server COM API, Microsoft
Word & Excel based document generation engine using COM Interop.

team that developed intranet web-based applications and content management
solutions for Wells Fargo’s call center operations. I played a key role in data
architecture planning as well as workflow process.
Ticketplanet.com
/ Diverplanet.com : San
Francisco, CA
05/2000 to 03/2001

Overview: I worked as part of a small

the main site as well as the Diverplanet.com division. I designed the entire
user interface and layout for the next-generation Ticketplanet.com travel
booking engine. Developed and implemented page cloaking technology that
dramatically increased visitor web traffic by delivering optimized, content
specific web pages to the major search engines.
